Yes!

Now, THIS is music that grabs you by the brain to make you listen.

Finn Silver’s Crossing the Rubicon wins today’s contest of “Am I going to come across SOMETHING worthwhile?!”

The singer’s voice is silky smooth and an effortless power and strength.  She sings with what sounds like natural control, and it’s as sexy as they come.  She could be 10 bricks to the face ugly and I’d still stare at her lovingly while that voice was coming out of her.

The music is pretty damn great too.  Specifically the saxophone work, when there is sax.  Great sax oozes sexuality, so it matches the sultry voice.

Crossing the Rubicon is like a pop jazz record that fell out of the heavens, doing justice to the legacy of great vocal jazz records.  It’s a torch-bearer kind of album.

Bottom line, buy this fucking album and buy it NOW!
